					Brief Operating Instructions: This battery inverter system is optimized for use with the T-Bird Legacy and Legacy O2. Under normal conditions the inverter will give approximately 5 hours use. This depends on ventilator settings and charge condition of battery. Other devices should not be plugged into the inverter while a Legacy is plugged in, even with the two outlets on the inverter; the other device will draw power and affect the battery run time. PROwatt 300 power inverter: The PROwatt 300 can be plugged into the lighter plug of the battery pack or into a car's lighter plug. The PROwatt 300 has and on/off switch; it is powered up only when the switch is turned on and the cigarette lighter plug is inserted into a 12v socket. When the power led of the PROwatt 300 is lit the Legacy may be plugged in. While the vent is running off of the inverter it will also charge the internal batteries of the Legacy. While the inverter is powered and running the ventilator it will become warm. (Keep open air space around inverter, especially the fan, to promte airflow). When battery power is low the PROwatt 300 will alarm, after about 15 minutes the inverter will shut off and the Legacy will continue on internal battery power. This feature keeps the gel cell battery or car battery from being discharged completely. For further information see the PROwatt 300 Owner's manual. SE-1-12s Automatic Charger: The charger will take approximately 20 hours to recharge a battery used to the point that the PW250 shuts down. It is recommended that the charger be plugged into ac when possible. The charger is fully automatic and will not overcharge the battery. The green led on the charger will light with ac applied. The red led will come on when the battery is charged. The charger will also get warm. The battery is not fully charged until the red led comes on. Cellmate Battery Indicator: The button on the charge indicator must be pushed to check charge of battery. (While checking battery charge all loads and chargers must be off!) Each led represents approximate battery power left. Even after the last led does not light, there is battery time left, up to an hour depending on ventilator settings. Troubleshooting: If the red led does not light when the plug is inserted into the socket remove and reinsert the lighter plug. If the inverter still does not work check 30 amp fuses inside the battery box of lighter plug. If charger or inverter is getting hot make sure there is open air space around inverter and charger. Recommend 2) 30 amp AGC fuses for backup.
